tiptoeing review uk
Hey, someone just posted my first UK review of Tiptoeing to Tranquility: The Parable for Finding Safety and Comfort in Dangerous Times (softcover or ebook). Take a look:
“I quite enjoyed this little story. It is deliberately simple and directed mainly at people like the main characters.
“That is to say it makes a good gift to people of a slightly nervous disposition who are largely unaware of the dangers of the world, or who haven’t thought about it much beyond the media scare-stories. Tiptoeing gradually builds on a few basic awareness ideas and some of the misconceptions people have about martial arts.
“The aim isn’t to get more people training so much as to educate people about what martial arts is about. What it is for.
“Keith doesn’t push for any particular answer to the questions and allows readers to think about it for themselves. A nice approach clearly designed not to hit on the aggressively ignorant response so many people have these days.
“Tiptoeing makes a much better gift than personal book for existing martial arts students and I have had good feedback from the friends I have given copies. Mostly fairly delicate people. It always went down well.”
